To hide a photo or album from your timeline:

1. Hover over the photo story on your timeline and click
2. Click Hide from Timeline

Stories you hide will still show up in your activity log, which only you can see, and still be eligible to appear in your friends' News Feeds.

Also note that hiding a photo doesn't remove the photo tag. Learn how to remove tags.
